Bill Baileys Birding Bonanza!

The "eagle eyed" of you (get it?) may have seen Bill Bailey on Sky 1 and in HD present his Bird watching Bonanza from Flamborough Head.

Bill set his celebrity chums tasks such as identifying Gannets, Skuas, and numerous sea dwelling varieties which can only be seen mainly at Flamborough as many species will not venture close inland and with Flamborough Head being nearly 5 miles into the sea you can see some rare varieties.

Bill walked the Headland and took a coble from North Landing to Bempton bird sanctuary to investigate the Gannet Colony. Some of the contestents including Alex Zane spotted birds on our Wildfowl Lake adjacent to our fishing lake, which goes to show how much wildlife this area is already supporting.

The team members ventured out on the Yorkshire Belle out of Bridlington.

Flamborough is seeing more interest in Tv and film crews each year. you never know...it may be you next!
