Charity Bike Ride!
Kirkheaton Rovers football club finished their triumphant 100 mile charity bike ride at Thornwick & Sea Farm Holiday Centre Flamborough.
They raised money for The Forget Me Not Trust who specialise in care for children who suffer from cancer or in need of respite care. They are building a hospice in 2010 and this is the latest event as the cost of running the hospice will probaby be over a million pounds a year to keep it running!
The event was well organised and well prepared with paramedics and the front rider in in the traffic police!
Watch the video below of their finishing and being greated by Thornwicks Mascot PJ The dog. For more information on The Forget Me Not Trust please go to their charity website where you will find information and some games even a facility to make a donation to this charity!
